The Optional Catch is ONLY required when the Door Monkey is used in an application with nonstandard door stop moulding. Door stop moulding is the portion of the door frame that the door closes against. Typically it is rectangular with square edges, but a small percentage of custom applications use door stop moulding with a rounded or beveled edge.
