It is quick to wet through and has high absorption. It can be torn, avoiding the need for cutting, and is ideal for laminating or molding complex shapes.

This Fiberglass Chopped Strand Mat is packaged as a roll (folding can damage the fibers). The roll is 50in x 30ft with a weight of 1.5oz per square foot. The strands have a random alignment, giving the fabric an even strength with little or no stretch. Molds made from this fiberglass mat will be equally stiff in all directions.
