Description

For sixty million years the Necrons have slumbered, their tomb worlds filled with dormant armies and inactive war machines. Now they are awakening as if from half-remembered nightmares, and the galaxy shudders at their return. From vast crypt-fortresses, burnished legions emerge into the dying light of the 41st Millennium, a steel sea rippling beneath the crackling energy discharge of esoteric battle engines. Swarming metal Scarabs, talon-limbed horrors and spectral assassins accompany them, their alien minds focused on a single purpose - to reclaim the stars.

4. Necron Warrior Squad

Feature

Necron Warriors with Canoptek Scarabs
GWS 49-06

Description

Necron Warriors form the cold heart of a Tomb World's armies. They are implacable, emotionless and terrifying soldiers - the inexorable emissaries of death itself. Unlike higher ranking Necrons, the basic warrior is little more than an automaton slaved to the will of their commander. What Necron Warriors lack in intuition they more than make up for in determination and durability. Once orders have been received, they are completely single-minded and will follow commands through to conclusion without question. Even wounds that would prove fatal to other races are not enough to stop a Necron Warrior from achieving their goal as they can often repair themselves as quickly as they are damaged.

This multi-part plastic boxed set contains 120 components with which to build twelve Necron Warriors and three Canoptek Scarab Swarms. This set comes with twelve Citadel 32mm Round Bases, three Citadel 40mm Round bases and three sprues of green Necron Rods.

Description

GAW49-13 Necron Tomb Blades Necrons Vehicle Warhammer 40K Miniature Game Games Workshop

The Tomb Blade has a curious motion for a craft of its design, eschewing the arrow-straight attack vectors of other jetbikes and fighter craft. It often corkscrews across the battlefield rather than taking a more direction approach. No flesh and blood pilot could ever hope to contend with such an anarchic approach without succumbing to blackouts and nausea, but such hazards have no hold over machines. Tomb Blades often operate far ahead of the main army, striking at lightly defended positions, supply convoys and other targets of opportunity. Such is the Tomb Blade's unpredictable advance that the piercing whine of its dimensional repulsors is often the only clue to its approach. Astute enemies dive for any cover they can find; others disintegrate as the air around them explodes in a blaze of unstable energy.

Tomb Blades are the perfect unit for taking out your enemy's most irritating units. People who fight against your Necron Army imagine them to be an implacable wall of metal, which advances steadily across the battlefield. Your enemies will be pretty surprised, therefore, when a wave of razor-sharp, fast-moving Tomb Blades descend from the sky and mow down their troops with concentrated Tesla fire.

This multi-part plastic boxed set contains 162 components with which to build three Necron Tomb Blades. This set comes with two small flying stems, two long flying stems, three small flying bases and two Necron transfer sheets.

GAW49-10 Necron Imortal Deathmark Necrons Unit Character Warhammer 40K Miniature Game Games Workshop

For countless millennia, Deathmark Squads have served the Necron nobility as snipers and assassins. They can effectively slip in and out of dimensions at will.

Able to carry devastating weapons such as the synaptic disintegrator, the Necron Deathmarks possess the classic, intimidating skeletal-metal form of their race. Their elongated limbs are jointed with metallic bolts, they stand in an eerily hunched manner, and their heads are set within a shroud of armour and industrious shoulder pads. Subtle Necron iconography is displayed on their breastbone.

This multi-part plastic boxed set contains 80 components, two Necron transfer sheets and five 25mm round bases with which to build five Necron Deathmarks or five Necron Immortals.

GAW49-07 Necron Lychguard Necrons Unit Character Warhammer 40K Miniature Game Games Workshop

The Lychguard are the wardens of the nobility, said to be utterly dedicated to their charges. While most Necrons wear a suit of living metal, the Lychguard wear huge suits of ancient armour.

The Lychguard models are highly detailed, and display the rich iconography and dynastic glyphs in all their glory, be that on their ancient armour or on the heavy coffin-shaped shields. As well as the classic skeletal metal frame, they wear segmented metallic loincloths and carry bulky weaponry including heavy-bladed warscythes, though some carry hyperphase swords and dispersion shields.

This multi-part plastic boxed set contains 111 components, five 32mm round bases and two Necron transfer sheets with which to build five Necron Lychguard or five Triarch Praetorians.

Description

GAW49-14 Necron Canoptek Wraiths Necrons Unit Warhammer 40K Miniature Game Games Workshop

While a Tomb World slumbers, Canoptek Wraiths are its eyes and ears. Canoptek Wraiths flit silently through the dusty halls, patrolling for intruders and inspecting systems for damage and decay. Its most notable feature is its dimensional destabilisation matrix - a phase shifter that allows it to skip in and out of reality. While originally designed to allow a Canoptek Wraith to reach into and repair solid machinery, the dimensional destabilisation matrix is no less valuable when dealing with intruders. A Canoptek Wraith can phase its claws and tendrils inside an opponent, swiftly resolidifying them to sever arteries, nerve clusters and other vital pathways without leaving an external mark to show for it.

There's always going to be an enemy unit that's going to mess with your strategy, and the Canoptek Wraiths are ideal for taking down that unit. Because of their speed and their ability to move undeterred through terrain (quite literally), the Canoptek Wraiths can soon hunt down the most irritating models within your enemy's army, no matter where they're hiding, ensuring that your well-calculated plans are brought back into line.

This multi-part plastic boxed set contains 135 components with which to build three Necron Canoptek Wraiths. This set comes with three 40mm round bases.

Miniatures are supplied unpainted and assembly is required.
