The calibrated Mitutoyo 2803-10CAL dial indicator is used to measure surface variations in fractional inches. It has a 0.375" diameter stem, a #4-48 UNF contact point thread mount, a measurement range of 0 to 0.025", graduations of 0.0001", and an accuracy of + or - 0.0001". The white dial and a contrasting hand help make measurements easy to read. This dial indicator meets ANSI standards, Japanese Industrial Standard (JIS) B7503-1997, and American Gage Design (AGD) standards for face and thread size, and bezel and stem diameter. Mitutoyo calibrated tools include a Certificate of Calibration that provides evidence that the tool has been calibrated and is within allowable error specifications. Mitutoyo calibrated tools are certified by Mitutoyo's American Association for Laboratory Accreditation-accredited calibration laboratory (A2LA Certificate #750-01) to the International Organization for Standardization/International Electrotechnical Commission (ISO/IEC) 17025 International Standard for testing and calibration laboratories.
