The HEPA Filter Cover is a cloth filter that surrounds the Dustless HEPA filter. This filter is intended to stop dust and hazardous materials before they reach the HEPA filter, protecting the HEPA filter and greatly extending its life. This is a replacement filter cover for the one included with the vacuum. This is an original HEPA filter cover hand sewn at the Dustless Technologies facility here in the US. This filter can be machine washed; however, to prevent cross contamination and to maintain filter integrity, we recommend washing it by hand and air drying. We recommend changing the HEPA filter cover twice a month for heavy commercial use, once every six months for regular residential use, or after washing it three times.
